Reading List
I’m a voracious reader, and I’m always reading something (easy to do when you have a phone and a commute!).
Here you’ll find my current reading list, as well as a list of books I’ve read and want to read.

The Nvidia Way: Jensen Huang and the Making of a Tech Giant

A great book - the first book! - about the history of Nvidia. Jensen Huang seems like a really intense guy, but it’s captivating to read about how he built the company into the juggernaut it is today.
It’s really fascinating as well to be able to peek behind the scenes of the graphics card wars… it doesn’t shy away from things like the NV30 leafblower debacle, for instance. I remember reading about that on AnandTech, back in the day…
Rise and Kill First: The Secret History of Israel's Targeted Assassinations
67% complete
A sometimes chilling read, but it’s also fascinating.
It’s careful to avoid a casually jingoistic treatment of the subject, and goes into very fine detail about Israel and its approach to national security without glorifying it.
It also goes into the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the important figures involved on all sides of the conflict - most notably, the rise of Yasser Arafat - as well as the various attempts to resolve it.
I’m not sure I’d recommend it to a casual reader; it’s not exactly light reading, and if you’re expecting to have more answers than questions after reading it, you’ll be disappointed. It also probably needs a new edition, covering October 7, 2023 and everything since.
I’d nonetheless probably recommend it to anyone interested in the I-P conflict though, regardless of their stance on it.
